Wordeo is a UK tech startup with a technology platform for messaging and video editing. From 23 February - 19 May 2017 we are on the hunt for tech and entrepreneurial talent who will build on Wordeo and take it to re-launch. Successful teams will become co-founders, joining a world-class group of investors to fast track their ideas from Proof of Concept to growth stage startup in a matter of months.
WHY SHOULD I TAKE PART?
This is a unique opportunity to become co-founders of Wordeo, propelling it to the next phase of growth. Winning ideas will step into a scalable startup infrastructure supporting the existing company and quickly progress, leap-frogging over the years of arduous groundwork that is necessary for any business in the early stages.
- The winning team will get up to 20% in entrepreneur share options.
- As a co-founder you will work alongside a team of world-class investors and technology specialists who will provide access to their networks (particularly in loyalty, media and advertising).
- Winning ideas will also take advantage of the Wordeo technology platform built with previous investment of £2,000,000.
- Finally, there is of course the immediate benefit of a cash prize - £15,000 GBP (1st Prize £10,000, 2nd Prize £5,000).
Throughout the competition you will be provided with a range of support: 1-2-1 meetings and advice on your pitch, Technical Briefings and Ideation Sessions. Our approach in reaching out to and working with teams over the course of the Wordeo Challenge will be to develop a good relationship over time through regular contact and conversation, we find this makes for the very best ideas come pitching time.
